Sarah Riebel graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Denver, CO in 2016 with her Associates degree in Occupational Studies. She has worked in a wide array of skilled nursing facilities and clinical settings including acute care, intensive care units, home health care, cardiac and neurological rehabilitation. With a specialty and passion for the geriatric population Sarah enjoys the functional aspect of Physical Therapy keeping people independent and with less complaints of pain allowing our aging population to lead active, healthy lifestyles. Prior to PTA school, Sarah graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelors degree in health fitness with a minor in nutrition. She believes it is largely important to take a holistic approach by integrating the body and mind into each treatment while promoting autonomy, competence and relatedness to achieve the best possible outcome for each individual. In her free time Sarah enjoys camping, home improvement projects, hiking, snowboarding, spending time paddle boarding on alpine lakes and with her dogs. Sarah prides herself in her empathy and ability to connect with all types of people as well as her passion for learning new things, participating in continued education courses and encouraging each individual to be the best, strongest and healthiest version of themselves. Sarah joined Barrett Hospital & HealthCare in 2020.
