Having joined Bridger Orthopedic in 2024, Dr. Gregg Schellack provides comprehensive orthopedic care in partnership with Barrett Hospital & HealthCare in Dillon, Montana. In practice since 2003, he is driven to achieve the best patient care experiences and outcomes. Dr. Schellack is providing care for general orthopedic patients including those needing shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, and foot care. He is also providing sports medicine treatment for athletes of all abilities. His multi-disciplined approach also includes specialty procedures, including cementless knee replacement and minimally invasive, arthroscopic surgical treatment. As a physician he is dedicated to his patients and is willing to work with them and their families to find the best solutions possible. Dr. Schellack is a Montana native who was born in Butte and raised on his family’s ranch in Dillon. He is a Montana State University alumnus and attended the Des Moines University Medical School in Iowa. He entered the United States Navy and completed his medical training at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, and at Loma Linda University in California. His assignments with the Navy would take him across the world being stationed on board ships, and at Naval bases internationally and stateside including serving as the Orthopedic Department Head at the Naval Hospital in Naples, Italy. He also proudly served in the United States Naval Reserves until his retirement in 2021. Entering private practice in 2016, Dr. Schellack has worked in Montana, California, Alaska, and Idaho. He is a member of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and an active fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Schellack and his wife are thrilled to be together in their home state of Montana. Outside of the office and surgical suite, he enjoys continuing to be active and loves being outdoors. He races motocross, and enjoys fishing, golfing, and skiing. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his beautiful wife and family.
