When you are injured or ill, the last thing you want to think about is how to pay your bill. Our Patient Financial Advocates are available to make the payment process as easy as possible for you.
Financial Assistance
Barrett Hospital & HealthCare is committed to improving the health of our communities. We seek to provide quality care to individuals, regardless of their ability to pay. Through the Financial Assistance Program, we can help qualifying patients with limited financial resources, in paying for their Barrett Hospital & HealthCare medical care.
Whether you are insured or uninsured, if your household earns 200% or less of the published federal poverty level, you are eligible to apply for assistance with your Barrett Hospital & HealthCare bills. Barrett Hospital & HealthCare uses an AGB (Average Generally Billed) calculation to ensure that the individuals seeking financial assistance will never pay more then the amount generally billed after insurance. To apply for assistance and/or to obtain free copies of the Financial Assistance policy and application, interested parties should contact a Patient Financial Advocate.

My Out-of-Pocket Cost Estimator
Barrett Hospital & HealthCare has an online, interactive calculator, powered by PARA HealthCare Financial Services, to assist patients in predicting their estimated out-of-pocket costs. Barrett Hospital & HealthCare’s new out-of-pocket estimation tool offers patients transparency about the balance of charges, which may remain after insurance, for common Barrett Hospital procedures.
Simply click here and you will be transferred to PARA’s site to complete the secure fields to learn about possible out-of-pocket costs associated with select Barrett Hospital & HealthCare testing. Remember, these are just estimates - and are not quotes or guarantees. Your actual expenses and benefits may vary depending on your insurance company, your specific plan, your provider’s strategy for your health care treatment, and your particular health care needs.
Post-Services Payment Discount
Patients can take advantage of a 5% discount for pre-payment of estimated patient obligation when payment in full is received before the second billing statement is mailed to them.
Payment Plans
Barrett Hospital & HealthCare offers zero interest short-term payment plans. We also contract with outside billing companies to offer you additional long-term budgeting options (With NO credit reporting). Contact a Patient Financial Advocate for details.
