Dr. Opfer is an emergency medicine-trained physician who is passionate about providing high-quality care to people of all ages. She completed medical school at Rocky Vista University in Colorado and went on to serve as chief resident during her emergency
medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas.

Before joining Barrett, Amanda worked in Butte as an emergency physician and director of the stroke program. She’s excited to be back in southwest Montana, serving the community she knows and loves.

When she’s not working, Amanda enjoys hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, riding her motorcycle, and spending time with her dogs and family.
