Barrett Hospital & HealthCare's speech therapist assesses and treats adults and children with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive linguistic issues.

Pediatric speech therapy treats communication challenges that cause children to have difficulty with verbal communication. We offer a variety of speech pathology services including voice, articulation, feeding/swallowing, language, fluency and cognitive/executive functioning for children of all ages, from infants through teenage years.


  • Conditions treated:

  • Developmental speech and language testing

  • Oral motor skills for feeding and swallowing

  • Difficulties in talking due to developmental delay

  • Autism including difficulties in communication and emotional regulation

  • Augmentative communication including communication devices for non-verbal children

  • Problems with cognition and executive function including thinking, memory and attention
