Following testicular cancer at the age of twenty-two and being exposed on a personal level to urologic care, Dr. Nathaniel Readal saw a career in the field of urology as a way to focus his medical career on helping patients with urologic conditions. He completed his medical school training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland and a Urologic Surgery residency at the Brady Urologic Institute at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. During his residency he gained experience treating men, women, and children for the spectrum of urologic conditions, and he is one of only three urologists in Montana who treats children for urologic issues. Dr. Readal is board certified in urology by the American Board of Urology. He treats the full spectrum of urologic disorders in adults and children including both benign and cancerous disorders of the urinary tract, voiding disorders, urinary incontinence, stone disease, fertility, and sexual disorders. In his spare time, he enjoys floating on our famed rivers of Southwest Montana, hiking in the mountains with his wife and dogs, and carpentry and masonry projects in his home. Dr. Readal has been providing care to the people of Southwestern Montana since 2015 and joined Barrett Hospital & HealthCare in 2024 to continue providing that care in Dillon and the surrounding areas.
