A Helena native with over 30 years of experience, Scott Pocha, PA-C, joined The Army National Guard in 1986. He completed his pre-med studies at the University of Montana in 1991, and graduated from US Army Physician Assistant School in 1993, and completed his master’s degree as a PA in 1999. During his 38 years in the Montana Army National Guard, he served four different combat deployments to include Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. For the last 26 years, Scott worked full-time in Emergency Medicine at Montana Veterans Administration Hospital in Helena. He also spent the last 13 years covering weekend shifts as an Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist provider in Wolf Point and Poplar Montana. Scott is passionate about training health care professionals in Emergency Medicine. He also enjoys traveling, camping, and fishing with his wife Michelle and their three daughters.
