Meet Rachel Dean Smetanka, PhD, MPAS, PA-C

Rachel Dean Smetanka is a native of Billings, MT. Her education and training took her to Duluth, MN, as well as Iowa and Idaho. In her professional career, she has been a physician assistant in Missouri and Idaho. She has also taught as assistant professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Idaho State University. She is eager to start helping patients in Montana, her home state.

The annual Community Benefit Report is a planned, managed, and measured approach that shows how Barrett Hospital & HealthCare participates in meeting identified community health needs. It exists to document two components of total community benefit: the cost of uncompensated care and the additional services and programs offered expressly for the purpose of providing added value to the community.
