Educational Scholarships Home / Foundation / Educational Scholarships Stefan A. Fabaz Memorial Scholarship The Stefan A. Fabaz Memorial Scholarship was established by the Fabaz Family to provide Barrett Hospital & HealthCare employees with financial access to continuing education and learning opportunities at an accredited college, university, or approved institution. A portion of the scholarship funds may also be used to purchase required course books. Stefan, a valued employee at Barrett Hospital & HealthCare, died in a tragic car accident in February 2006. The Foundation may award up to five -$1,000 scholarships annually. The Stefan A. Fabaz Memorial Scholarship - applications received and awarded upon committee approval APPLICATION Goodman Nursing Scholarship The Nursing Education Scholarship was established in 2012 by Dr. R. Cole and Staci Goodman in honor of the King and Meine Families. This scholarship is available to Barrett Hospital & HealthCare Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants who are furthering their education. The Foundation may award up to three-$500 scholarships annually. The Goodman Nursing Scholarship deadline: July 3rd APPLICATION Ron Loge Medical Scholarship The Ron Loge Medical Scholarship was established by Ron Loge, M.D. to provide tuition assistance to a Beaverhead County High School, Sheridan High School, Twin Bridges High School, Harrison, Whitehall, Ennis or Beaverhead County and Ruby Valley home-schooled graduate with an equivalent high school diploma, who has been accepted or is attending an accredited Medical School in the United States. The current application expands the application and states "Application must be attending an accredited United States Medical School or accepted into an accredited United States Medical School, DO, PA or FNP with a preference given to MD's who are interested in primary care. Kennedy Trail The 0.7 mile paved walking trail located on the south campus of Barrett Hospital & HealthCare offers many physical and psychological benefits. The trail is open year-round and as the name implies, a favorite activity is walking. Walk alone for the solitude or walk with a friend for encouragement and good conversation. Few exercises are as enjoyable and beneficial to your health as walking.

He completed his medical school training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland and a Urologic Surgery residency at the Brady Urologic Institute at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. During his residency he gained experience treating men, women, and children for the spectrum of urologic conditions, and he is one of only three urologists in Montana who treats children for urologic issues. Dr. Readal is board certified in urology by the American Board of Urology. He treats the full spectrum of urologic disorders in adults and children including both benign and cancerous disorders of the urinary tract, voiding disorders, urinary incontinence, stone disease, fertility, and sexual disorders. In his spare time, he enjoys floating on our famed rivers of Southwest Montana, hiking in the mountains with his wife and dogs, and carpentry and masonry projects in his home. Dr. Readal has been providing care to the people of Southwestern Montana since 2015 and joined Barrett Hospital & HealthCare in 2024 to continue providing that care in Dillon and the surrounding areas.
